Project Case Study: Redefining the Visual Identity of Chalet Marmottier

Introduction

Our objective was to develop a new visual identity that captures the essence of the amazing Chalet Marmottier and conveys a message of excellence. Situated in Verbier, Chalet Marmottier is renowned as one of the most extraordinary and luxurious chalets in the area. Drawing inspiration from its distinctive and impressive roof shape, we crafted a new logo symbol concept derived from the letter "M," representing the initial letter of the chalet's name. This symbol exudes a sense of grandeur and opulence, reflecting the main characteristics that define Chalet Marmottier.

Creating a Design System

Before approaching a redesign we needed to define our style guide to exist as a unified design language. After creating our new design language we were about to build out cross functional UI components.

Logo Design

The logo design for Chalet Marmottier encapsulates the chalet's unique charm and luxurious appeal. The letter "M" is skillfully transformed into a powerful and noble symbol that immediately evokes a sense of magnificence and luxury. The modern sans serif typography chosen for the logo adds a contemporary touch, enhancing its visual appeal. The logo is presented in gold, symbolizing prestige and exclusivity, and is showcased on a clean white background, as well as an elegant blue background for added versatility.

Color Palette

The carefully selected color palette of gold, dark blue, and white further enhances the brand identity of Chalet Marmottier.
