Introduction

We're thrilled to share the case study of the brand identity project for Chalet la Chance, a stunning luxury chalet nestled in the enchanting surroundings of La Tzoumaz, 4 Vallées. The name "La Chance," meaning "good fortune" in French, inspired the creation of a logo that combines the symbolism of a four-leaf clover and a snowflake, evoking both luck and the Alpine spirit that captivates us all.

Creating a Design System

Before approaching a redesign we needed to define our style guide to exist as a unified design language. After creating our new design language we were about to build out cross functional UI components.

Objective

The primary objective was to design a logo that embodies the essence of Chalet La Chance while maintaining simplicity, cleanliness, and elegance. The owners expressed their desire to capture the spirit of the mountains in the logo, ensuring its recognizability and a timeless appeal.

Logo Design

The name "La Chance," meaning "good fortune" in French, inspired the creation of a logo that combines the symbolism of a four-leaf clover and a snowflake, evoking both luck and the Alpine spirit that captivates us all. The logo features an elegant sans-serif typography, chosen specifically to convey sophistication and refinement. Subtle tweaks were applied to certain letters, adding a unique touch that reflects the character of Chalet La Chance.
